Wow, Superior Invis makes Darkstalker into chump change. That's interesting.

So, it's not that you don't make noise. You still make noise, it's just that no one can hear you. So verbal components are fine, but talking is out. Telepathy is good, but you can't stand behind someone and whisper "surprise" before shanking them, and having them know that something was behind them. I guess it's more a visceral thing that I want; telepathy can be obtained from a bunch of sources, from a helm to spells or feats or race/class.

While everyone's Philosophy is not in accord, that doesn't mean we're not on board.

Superior Invisibility is completely incoherent and internally contradictory. Here's the whole text:
Invisibility, Superior wrote:This powerful glamer fnctions like invisibility (PH 245), except that it masks image scent, and sound alike, concealing the subject from all senses except touch. As with greater invisibility, this spell doesn't end is the subject attacks. While invisible, the subject exudes no scent and is undetectable by scent, blindsense, tremorsense, and blindsight.

Superior invisibility renders the recipient immune to detection by see invisibility, fairie fire glitterdust, invisibility purge, and dust of appearance, although creatures under the effect of the spell can be detected by true seeing. Certain mundane conditions (such as leaving footprints) can also render a subject detectable.
What the FFFFFFFUCCCCKKKK?

First of all, it doesn't make you invisible to touch, but it does make you undetectable to tremorsense, which functions by touch. Secondly, mundane things you leave behind (like say, your scent are specifically unaffected, but you exude no scent even though it's a glamer and can't actually change what you do or do not leave behind you. Then it prevents detection by glitterdust and fairie fire, even though those function on the same principle as footprints, that it specifically will not mask. Furthermore, it talks about being actually undetectable but it says it functions "as invisibility" which is just a +20 Hide check plus a predator effect that gives you a 50% concealment miss chance.

Uh... I seriously cannot tell what that spell is supposed to do under practically any circumstances. I know for sure that it's supposed to beat see invisibility (the fucking 2nd level spell people forget exists), and it doesn't beat true seeing (the fucking 5th level spell that every 15th level dude has on all the time). So it's basically completely fucking worthless because the Osyluths who have become a frickin horde monster by this point can see you just fine as can the marilith boss monsters, and all the major NPCs. But even if you could hypothetically get it back at like 9th level or so when you'd give a fuck, no one knows what it does in any situation.
